Exact hoist and capacity confirmed on your quote. Hoists move stock and materials up levels so the stairwell stops being your logistics plan. For people at height it's an EWP — see scissor lifts and booms.
No — material hoists are goods-only, full stop. Passenger-rated hoists are a different machine class entirely. If people need to travel, we talk EWPs or a proper passenger hoist through the network.
Model-dependent — small fitout hoists carry a few hundred kilos per cycle, bigger rack-and-pinion units much more. Tell us the heaviest single item and the daily volume, and we size the hoist rather than the hope.
Competent installers — erection, ties and commissioning are part of the arrangement, not a DIY job. Factor a site visit for anything beyond the simplest setups.
Smaller units run on 240 V; bigger hoists want 415 V three-phase. No supply yet? A generator rides on the same quote.
A hoist wins when the same vertical run repeats all day — fitouts, mezzanine stocking, scaffold loading. One-off big lifts are crane territory; mixed site lifting is a telehandler conversation. Describe the job and we'll point at the right machine.
More than wheel-it-off-a-truck gear because of installation — call a few days ahead, more for tall or tied installations.
Tell us what you need and where — we’ll source it from our supplier network and send a sharp quote, usually same day.
No account, no friction — send the basics and we’ll source it.
