Good to know

Tool hire questions

Is the gear tested and tagged?

Yes — electrical tools come with current test-and-tag from the supplying fleet, ready for any site induction. Paperwork available on request with the booking.

Are blades, discs and bits included?

Consumables are yours — but say what you're cutting or drilling and the right blades and bits are supplied with the hire rather than discovered missing at 7am.

Day rate or weekly?

Both — and the weekly rate is usually where tool hire makes sense. If the job might stretch, say so up front; quoting the week from the start beats stacking day rates.

Can I get dust extraction?

Yes — on-tool vacs and extraction attachments hire alongside grinders, saws and drills. Silica rules make this the expected setup on sites now, not the fancy option.

What power do tools need on site?

Standard 240 V with an RCD covers most of the range; big breakers and core rigs may want 15 A. No power yet? A small generator joins the quote.

Can you package tools with machines?

That's the broker trick — breakers with the compressor, grinders with the scissor lift, lasers with the excavator. One list, one quote, one delivery run where the yards allow it.
